I have lots of love. There are lots of love languages. (I will talk about those in another blog) But one of the ways I love to share with you my love is by feeding you.
It helps because I am a nutritional Doula and I also have my training from the Government of Canada for working out while cooking. My Food Handler’s course. Forgot the name there for a minute. About to Google and then it comes to me. So much is in my head and I want these blogs RAW for you to know what I am really about.
How do I do that?
Well as a birth doula, one of my packages offers a Meal Prep day.
Having done this with a few clients the system is getting more worked out and it turns out amazing for the families. I have heard only good things about how having freezer meals has saved them with a newborn in the house. I just finished doing one, those are some of the images in the picture.
Always a home run is a lasagna!
Who doesn’t like lasagna? (never mind I remember a client )
As a postpartum doula, I support you by providing you with a meal depending on the shift. You have the food and I will cook you something. I am starting to learn (the more postpartum doula-ing I do that I need to bring recipes and gloves for the oven.) But I always make a meal or something for you to eat. If I come early you might be getting breakfast, which regarding what’s in your kitchen might be homemade pancakes from scratch to scrambled eggs and toast, or who knows
oatmeal.
If it’s lunch what is suiting the taste buds for a good lunch, what about a nice BLT-like sandwich? Or maybe some lasagna?
Regardless of when I come, I am helping feed you and nourish the body.
